Red’s world revolves around him, he believes he deserves all the best and he’s not afraid to reach for what he wants. Confident and outspoken, the man has no difficulty in communicating his needs and expectations. Social and eager to interact with others, he likes to get familiar with people in his surrounding to know who's worth being kept close and who should be avoided. He likes the idea of people as a group with dynamic hierarchy and finds satisfaction in putting others in suitable for them roles. He takes advantage of any opportunity to make his life better or more interesting. He enjoys comfort, good company and entertainment, in the same time getting easily bored and constantly searches for a new thrill. He’s not used to being ignored or neglected, but he loves challenge. Self assured, but not blindly proud, Red is resourceful and doesn’t abstain from asking for help or using abilities of others for his own benefits. Cunning and planning, he enjoys social games and likes being in the center of attention.

History

TL;DR, noble family from Switzerland, Red lives a comfortable life until his 20s when he decides that mortal life isn't as exciting as he thought. He finds demons and bonding with them as a new source of thrill and decides to use DAMMED as a cover up for his plan to get himself a demon and long life.

Red’s family tree has deeply settled noble roots, his father comes from the noble class of Switzerland, his mother is retired fashion designer. As a little boy, Caleb had everything he needed and everything he wanted to have, growing treasured and protected by his mother from the day one, he was always loved and deeply influenced by her. Despite not having much contact with his father, who was mostly focused on his older son’s military achievements, Red was never feeling neglected and always respected both his father and his brother for their active effort to keep their family as far from the direct influences of war as possible. For many years of his childhood Red had no idea about the on-going war at all.

By being the son from his father's second marriage, the boy had lots of freedom and lots of time to focus on his own interests and talents, enjoying classical education, sport and the social life of high class. In his later teen years, Caleb started to search for more independent forms of entertainment, private parties and risky games with other rich kids allowed him to spread his wings and indulge a bit darker world of human pleasures, away from the watchful eye of his dear mother. Boredom of easy life was impossible to avoid though and after reaching 20, Red started to feel more and more unsatisfied with his life, slowly running out of ideas for how to spice up his existence. That eventually leaded to him growing intrigued by the demon kind, so foreign and diverse in their supernatural powers and bizarre forms. And then he learned about bonding and mutual benefits of it. Being just a very rich human suddenly became a very unattractive concept. Red decided that he wants more from his life. With money not being an issue and a beautiful lie about wanting to join a prestigious military unit to make his family proud, the man easily got his family's support and left his home aiming to join DAMMED.

Why the character wants to join DAMMED

“To make my family proud and spread our good name of course.” a.k.a. to achieve demon powers and live long. DAMMED appeared to be the safest and easiest way to learn more about human - demon relations and bonding.
