Description
(Left) DreamatodeIt hides in shadowy patches on the ground, so it can phase into whatever or whoever steps on it. Once inside it causes fatigue so it can feeds on the sleeping victims's thoughts.
(Right) Nightworm
It has outgrown its host and lives as a free-living predator. It lunges its hook in prey and feeds on thoughts until the prey is left as a brain-dead husk.
They are based on a literal hookworm with design elements from Freddy Kruger from Nightmare on Elm Street.

Yes. The thing is no one knows much about the evolved form but it has only ever been seen in nightmares.
