Of all the Gym Leaders from Holven, this 13 year old is considered to be the hardest worker, gaining recognition from even the Elite 4 themselves. Wakes up early in the morning to exercise and train her Pokemon every single day, and likes to challenge the other leaders from time to time in order to test her skills. Her training methods are very strict and intense, that it's said she could tame even the fiercest of beasts.

Her main goals are to honor the legacy of her now retired mother, and to become the Champion of Holven. She's so determined that even the current Champion keeps a close eye on her, though she still thinks Kaira isn't ready yet. With such dedication and passion, she's the source of inspiration for many young trainers out there, mainly to her fellow Leaders Marigold, and Anniebelle.

And now a fun fact: Her name is inspired by Kaido, from One Piece (won't spoil why, though ).
