Description TOTAL TIME SPAN : 50+ HOURS

This was a design project which I did this year since January and yeah, it's now finished.
Usually, the cars I generally design/have designed are mid-engined coupes/supercars, but this time, I decided to do a sedan, and not just any sedan, but a large full-size luxury saloon.

EUROPEAN LUXURY COMBINED WITH ITALIAN SPORTINESS FOR THE YEAR 2016.

"An, Alfa Romeo unlike any other, the luxurious Forscia sedan combines both sport/racing pedigree of Alfa Romeos of the past
while displaying quality and elegance that matches the comfort and prestige of full-size European luxury sedans."

"FORSCIA- AWAKING OF THE FORCE"
POWER - characteristic that perfectly describes the cars Alfa Romeo builds.

The Forscia is a full-size luxury sedan combining the sporting pedigree of Alfa Romeo with luxury. Forscia not only
revives Alfa Romeo's famous rear-wheel-drive platform of the past, but combines Alfa Romeo's true
"PASSION" and POWER" for racing with elegance in the shape of an upscale prestige sedan, also bringing back
the glorious legacy of Alfa Romeo's style in full-size luxury sedans.

TARGET BUYER :

Gender : MALE
AGE : Mid 30s - 50s
LIFESTYLE : Energetic, highly active life in general while enjoyng luxury and prestige.
Preferance for luxury goods in a different taste. For a man who has racing lust deep in his heart,
yet wants something else other than the luxury-sportiness of the Germans and the Brits.

Price range : $51,000 base - $65,000 fully equipped

DESIGN CHARACTERISITCS :

As the Forscia is a large luxury sedan, the elongated body has been styled to look more like coupe/sportback
to enhance the general sporty characteristic of the car. This gives a nod to Audi A7's sportback sloping rear and
Mercedes-Benz's coupe silhouette in a different way.

CONCLUSION : "SHORT TRUNK TO ENHANCE COUPE-LIKE SILHOUETTE, ADDING MORE SPORTINESS TO THE CAR'S OVERALL EXTERIOR DESIGN.
AND ALSO ALLOWING FOR MORE LEGROOM SPACE. (NECESSITY IN LUXURY SEDANS)

Headlights inspired by the shoulders of Italian glamour models. Straight sloping sidelines showing freshness in overall
design. African Lion's sharp fangs conveying a powerful and strong motion to the front in general

WHY FIAT AUTO GROUP NEEDS TO BUILD THIS VEHICLE :

To revive Alfa Romeo's famous racing heritage along with luxury in a single vehicle. (TWO BIRDS WITH ONE STONE)
The Forscia sedan allows the drivers to experience the true racing passion of classic Alfa race cars
while traveling in comfort and style. the Forscia is a sporty luxury sedan that is a great fun to drive and race out
on the racetracks, while providing smooth and softness along with ride comfort of a luxury car.

Alfa Romeo is also capable of building large premium sedans that can rival similar cars of its class.

LENGTH :4920 mm

Cool concept. Nice lines. It looks a little like a Maserati Gran Turismo with the headlights of the new Honda NSX concept.

Very interesting! I would picture this with the engine from the Maserati GranTurismo S/Quattroporte and Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione. I would definitely rock this car. I love German cars, but nowadays they seem far too cold and robotic. I demand a little a "Potenza" and "Pazione" in my luxury cars, so an Italian option is for me. Throw in a 6-speed manual transmission and you will have a future owner.Β

hmm, I don't know but a manual transmission in a 5m luxury car.... not to sure about that

Wyvern89 In reply to toyonda [2013-08-04 17:46:37 +0000 UTC]

It could be an option. It leaves a wide spectrum for target consumers. Some like comfort and luxury, some like performance and power, some like a combination of both. Me personally, I like the feel of a clutch. The feeling of upshifting and rev match heel-toe downshifting is some that cannot express in words. It's almost therapeutic, the Zen of driving if you will. It kinda awakens the beast in every petrol head, haha!

Nice concept, I'd change the name

Anyway, the rear of the Audi A7 designed by Da Silva (who like Alfas) is almost the rear of the Alfa GTV6.

For some reason, I see some elements from the Alfa Romeo Nuova Concept in the front end.

And also on the front end, there's something "too Jaguar-style". Maybe it's the headlamps, I'm not sure. The front fascia from the earlier sketches (the one drawn on blue) would match the final concept better IMO.

Anyways, interesting concept of yours

toyonda In reply to broettonavarro [2013-08-04 03:45:06 +0000 UTC]

ah, the 1996 Nuova concept, yes, my favourite Alfa Romeo concept car being that gorgeous coupe.

Β

and yes, I was also inspired by the luxurines of the Jaguar XJ sedan so yeah, and thanks man

Roddy1990 [2013-07-31 02:00:39 +0000 UTC]

1790 kg...4.92 meters long...2.86 meters of wheelbase...quite a "limo"!! I think it's too much car for such low price!

It's a bit heavier than I expected, but then again, full of luxuries and focused on safety, it needs to have more equipments to comply with future safety standards, so...it's acceptable.

NOW!!! Engine...

Possibly using the 3-liter V6 from Maserati (330 and 410 hp options stock), tuned specifically for Alfa...some 380 hp, to avoid competition with the most powerful Maserati Ghibli... Or perhaps...even their V8, "detuned" from 530 to some 470 hp...

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

toyonda In reply to Roddy1990 [2013-07-31 10:40:16 +0000 UTC]

Well, it's still 'SLIGHTLY" and I mean 'SLIGHTLY" smaller than the CLS or Cadenza but certainly is a limo, especially since it's an Alfa.

Β

Hmmm, Maserati engine, and they are relesaing the Ghibli sedan soon, also another reason why the price isΒ quite low compared to a CLS or an A7. Because being honestly said, people would buy a German rather than Italian if the two vehicles were of the same price.

So Alfa = Lowers the price of their cars to be more competitive.

Β

But then, you never know. I mean, if this, or something like this DOES get produced and sold to the general public, prices, COULD go up indeed, but then, if Alfa wants to sell their RWD cars, then, they will have no choice other than to lower the price.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Roddy1990 In reply to toyonda [2013-07-31 15:08:36 +0000 UTC]

Yeah :/
Plus, the old Alfa public is already dead or too old, people nowadays hardly care about RWD or legacy...they only care about status...
I mean, even BMW admitted that 90% of its clients don't know in which axle is the traction of their cars... And even they are already thinking about FWD vehicles...;_;

Yes,Β  with the LFA being the most sharp, clean, and sleekest FR supercar that is out now, that $800,000 Japanese hypercoupe was indeed, a design motive for my Alfa sedan

Just the part where it says combining Alfa romeros tradition
well theres a fu#king lion there, its a great touch to the ad

Overall the car itself. . . Lets just say I got sexually excited at one point and that is a key character of an Alfa
