Description This is my main dark theme; I use it in low-light conditions. It's based on my main light theme : I started off by inverting or halving the values (brightness) of the colours and made tweaks here and there. The result is striking, yet still easy on the eyes.
This theme uses the Windows Black cursor theme, complete with a matching black hand cursor because the theme doesn't come with one already for some reason. Like the original theme, it also comes with event sounds from Windows XP and startup and shutdown sounds from Windows 2000 beta. Completing this theme is the Flying Windows screensaver.

Installation
  • Copy Flying Windows.screensaver somewhere and rename it to Flying Windows.scr
  • Double-click the .themepack file
  • Set Flying Windows.scr as the screensaver
  • Save the theme

    Just tested it.
No it doesn't, it "applies" an theme, but it doesn't show all the dark graphical assets, the text is white, half of it is just the modern windows style half new high contrast style (new high contrast means what high contrast has been since the classic theme was removed.).
Atleast the wallpaper applies, and you also accidentally enable the hidden aerolite theme in the process (albit glitched.)

Unfortunately, no, because Microsoft doesn't support Windows Classic anymore. I think you'll still be able to apply the theme, but it'll look completely different and won't really look good.

I can't get it to work. I'm using Windows 7. I click on the .themepack file and says there are missing files and theme cannot be applied :/

That's odd. I tried applying it to a fresh Windows 7 virtual machine and it applied just fine. Try downloading the ZIP file again, extracting it, and applying the .themepack file again. If that fails, see if you can apply any other .themepack files (all my other themes are themepacks). If that fails, have you patched your system at all, and do you have Service Pack 1 (you shouldn't need it, but you never know)?
