Awwwww.....thanks . But there was plenty of effort, believe me. A lot of what helped me lately was sketching on paper first then scanning it in. Really helps me get things down easier.

Yeah, I have a small Cintiq but now that you mention it, I think I would do better by starting off on paper first.
Anyway, I take back the effortless remark. you obviously put a lot of heart into your stuff.

I don't like it when people tell me "wow, you have talent!" it has nothing to do with talent (which is a human concept that doesn't mean anything) it's just that we've been training for a long time and put lots of effort into our drawings.

Peace!

Oh, no worries on the effortless remark. No offense taken You say the smaller cintique? the 12 inch? Someone I know said they tried it but it was "lacking" (their words). I tried one for a while at my last job and it was....meh. I always felt like I was bearing down on it. I think I just prefer a wacom and a screen. I'm hopelessly old school I think

I've been using the 12 inch cintiq for a year now and here's the bottom line (since you seem interested):
-painting is faster because of the increased hand-eye coordination
-you have to indeed bear down on it and it hurts your neck and back
-it doesn't show the image so well during the day because of reflection
-it's nicer to be far away from what you're painting.

---> not a big fan
but that new intuos4 for seems pretty awesome.

Anyway, I really admire your stuff your an absolutely awesome artist and I'm super jealous.
Take care!
