Description This is my first digital painting piece. Achieved in Adobe Photoshop CS3 with my partners Wacom tablet.

I used a stock image for this piece: here
I manipulated this photo into my own artwork.
Thanks to Larafairie-stock
I found the skin very hard to paint (I'm used to vectoring images) so I will be trying to improve future work.

I am still working on this piece so stay tuned for updates

I like all the detail and effort you put into the hair But I don't like how the rest of the picture (the skin in particular) seems less detailed in comparison to the hair...

Wonderful first try!
The thing i would suggest is colors. Overload your picture with colors. It helps a lot.
