Well it seems i have been inactive for about a year now - its been a rather busy year at university so there was little time for any artwork - as well as the fact that i lost my entire hard drive with my 3dx max source files and wasn't motivated to work on anything.

I finally decided to reinstall 3ds this holiday though and here is the product of my labour - still has some glitches but i'm just tired of looking at it for the moment.

Would love to hear some comments and criticisms - and if any 3ds max users out there know how i could improve the glass render please let me know...

Render time about 8+ hours v(original res 3000 * 2250)
Post work and original violin texture made in Photoshop CS2
