Description "Henshin!"
PLAY! *guitar solo* ROCK RHYTHM!

Introducing Kamen Rider Genre, a concept I've been working up for Jutondra (who I have no idea how to tag.) He and I worked on my elemental Royal OOO Medals years back, and he came to me with this concept which I kind of cannibalized into something I think is fairly dope.

Kamen Rider Genre fights against foes who sap emotions or hormones out of their human victims. Genre fights by channeling the positive emotions that people associate to music. By placing a blank Rhythm Disc into his Genre Driver and hitting Record, he can concentrate an emotion or vibe from ambient noise or music to store on the Disc, creating a new form. To transform, he places a themed Rhythm Disc into the Driver and presses Play, which manifests a disc of colored light at his feet. From this rises a 3-D visualizer, which dances around him and generates his suit.

This is his main form, Rock Rhythm. This form has a fire attribute and is generally aggressive, but pretty balanced stat-wise. His weapon in this form is the Rock Shredder, which reveals his "gimmick." All of Genre's form specific weapons have two forms: instrument and weapon. The Rock Shredder can be used as a battle axe in Guitar Form, but the instrument form primarily serves to charge the finisher. The neck can also be detached, leaving him with a sword and a bladed buckler.

On the right hand side of the Genre Driver is a jack, which can be used one of two ways, both executing what's called a Tempo Charge finisher. By plugging the jack back into the belt, Genre can perform his Rider Kick, surrounded by the element of his form, in this case fire. If he jacks it into the Rock Shredder in Guitar Form, Genre will begin to wail on the guitar, and the more he plays, the more energy the Rock Shredder accumulates. When he's ready, he detaches the sword and slashes at the enemy, with a blaze of fire and an echoing guitar chord.

Genre has a few more forms designed, and I came up with some rivals for him as well, but we'll see if we get to the other guys. For now, enjoy Kamen Rider Genre, and no thieving please!

I love a music rider! What's his henshin pose?

Rock is great!

I can picture this guy's human identity to be a young former musician or a music student.

I hope to see more music!

Oh wow, this looks great! While I'll admit, now that I see a bit of Hibiki and Kiva in the music motif, I can sill see this being a great Rider concept in its own right. I do like the idea of dual-mode weapons as well as the weapons looking like something slightly less conspicuous.

The monsters sound interesting as well, and I'm not 100% sure what those abilities could be used for in a grand master plan, aside from fueling an invasion.

I can't wait to see what else you do with this, maybe seeing forms like Jazz or Blues or Reggae.

I see them loosely like the Roidmudes, trying to absorb human emotion to become more human. I won't really be focusing on villains though. I have another line of monsters that I'm working up, my focus is going there.

That's no problem. I can understand not needing to focus on something.

One thing I always liked about Kamen Rider was the direct connection between the power sources used by the heroes and the villains. In this case, I wanted it to be a battle to collect Vibes. A monster shows up and tries to drain the energy from a group of people, Genre shows up and turns the Vibe to a positive one, then captures it.

Sweet! Β Glad to see your work appear at last.

Can't wait to see the other forms.

And I had just remembered that during the time of concept for Gaim, there was Kamen Rider Break, which was more of a dance Rider.

Keep up the good work.

It's also funny because for my idea of Kamen Rider NEW Hibiki, he has a a new final form called Rebellion and uses a guitar that shoots out energy bolts, but can also turn into a large two-handed sword by pulling on the handle and the neck flips out to reveal the sword.

I'm actually curious if you noticed the mouth details. Each form has a unique mouthplate musical symbol.

I will admit that originally I had not noticed the mouth piece of each form. Β But now that I have its pretty good. Β I mostly focused on the head and body, but that is cool the way you made the mouthpiece of each form.
