Yeah, I agree. But I inked the way the penciler indicated. She blacked in all the areas with pencil that she wanted blacked in with ink. And I inked it according to those instructions. But yes, I agree that the contrast of the blacks fights the subject. Hopefully the color work will correct that.

I understand.

It's amazing how much the color can compensate. Used to be that the fate of the piece was in the inker's hands. Since computers came along, that power shifted to the colorist.

BTW, your colors are great! So it's good to see that despite that strength, you're aiming at doing it all.

Strength comes from weakness.

Awwww Thank you, Alexa! I'm so glad you like it! I think Ashley did an awesome job on the pencil work, it was cool to ink her lines!

You might mention that to *jotazombie , about the help I mean. He might want help with some flating of some of the journal skin images maybe? I think the comic is being written as we speak, so that part isn't really ready for the art yet. But with the images we'll be using for the journal skins and front page and what not, we might use some help with that if you're not busy. You should mention to *jotazombie that you're up to helping out, if he doesn't know already. I know you helped out a lot when we were fleshing out Sara/Stylus's story and that was a big help! So thank you for that, my friend!

The comic is being written as we speak. After that we'll be on the look out for a good penciler. It's been awesome helping to flesh out the story for the comic and the characters and all that.

As for the color work, I believe *jotazombie wanted to do the colors on this image.

hahah Well I have my plate full right now to take on new practice lines (I'm currently inking several images in my free time for practice) but I'm always up for new commission work if you wanted to commission some inking me. lol Though I know there are MUCH better inkers out there to hire for that sort of thing.
