I know he did try to poke at some Freudian concepts with some other characters, but Koishi is just that cranked up to the max.

Koishi's THE everything in Gensokyo: she's THE least sane character, she has THE saddest backstory and she has THE best battle theme and Extra Stage theme in the series... my opinion, of course.
