So as most of you know, I'm going primarily by the continuity of the Railway Series books (with some elements of the TV series and other headcanons, such as wildnorwester 's).  Because of this, I've made it so that Stephen Topham Hatt (Sir Topham Hatt's grandson) had grown up to follow in his father and grandfather's footsteps.  Also, I gave Bridget a lighter hair color than previously, although about her having blonde hair in the books, I was actually thinking of the magazine stories.  But I did want to choose a happy medium, and help explain where wildnorwester 's character, Emily Helen Hatt (the Fourth "Fat Controller"), had possibly gotten her blonde hair from (because after all, I do feel that she had to have gotten her hair color from someone).  To add to that, I've also colored part of Bridget's shirt blue instead of yellow.

Also note that I've drawn Stephen Hatt's face and overall appearance closer to Sir Topham Hatt in the TV series (specifically Season 3).

Here's the description of the original pic:

"If you grew up with only the TV show of "Thomas the Tank Engine", you may remember these two from the episode "Toby and the Stout Gentleman" (or "Toby the Tram Engine" to American fans).  They are Sir Topham Hatt's grandchildren, except here, they're all grown up.

Stephen Topham Hatt, as you can probably guess, is the third "Fat Controller" of the railway (with the second being the first one's son, Sir Charles Topham Hatt).  As for Bridget, where she went off to has not been fully established as far as I know, except that she likely moved to the mainland."

You know, sometimes I wonder why these two never grew up on the show.  Hell, even the Fat Controller and Lady Hatt never aged.  It's almost like they've got Simpsons syndrome.
