Locomotive designed by Borsig in 1929 as a part of a 3-design standard order of locomotives for the Yugoslavian railways, then Serbian state railways, who ordered 3 designs that share the boiler, tender, cab, etc. This is the passenger variation with a 4-6-2 (2'C1') wheel arrangement. Built by Schwartzkopff in 1930 due to a lack of space on the Borsig factory production line.
