man yume nikki's just a good game and i so wish there was more art based around the environments. i think the thing that freaked me out more than anything was the bizarre sense of deja vu i got from some areas because i've dreamt about similar places (the 'factory', 'block city' and 'road' feel familiar in particular).

'ive never dreamt about anything quite so surreal as the world of severed body parts but... it's just a neat place
