Actually Bulk never said that the DO NOT breathe. He said that they do not NEED to breathe. "Need" is the key word there. This means that they can breathe, and while they are on Earth most likely do breathe, but should they have to go into space for become trapped underground in a cave they don't need to breathe to keep functioning and thus don't.
Yeah I watched that scene too. That's the first time I've actually noticed it!

5 minutes of it once. I was so lost & it was so weird that I decided it wasn't worth it.
I don't watch a lot of anime... just the Naruto stuff... & sometimes TEEN TITANS. I know they call AVATAR THE LAST AIRBENDER & THE LEGEND OF KORRA anime, but I don't really consider it as that. I guess since it's based in Japan you could also call TFA anime too... but I don't think it is.
