Great mosaic of Armada. I just there was a follow-up to it, though.

I just can't find many mosiacs of the Unicron Trilogy. It's mostly G1, Animated, or less frequently, Beasties (Better Known as Beast Wars)

I think ending the page with Smokescreen still wandering about in his snowy landscape leaves the story hanging with a certain air of hope. And given how it turns out... yeah, Ol' Smokie will be back! Just... not as we knew him. Maybe.

Also, it's been ages since I saw Armada, this takes place shortly after he got slagged protecting some Mini-cons doesn't it?

Time for a qualifier, I think. I've actually never seen a single episode of Armada!
Rather, I tried to write a piece that would make a nod to a previous continuity and also stand on its own two feet. I was working here from the continuity of Simon Furman's fantastic Armada comics, where poor ol' Smokescreen meets an untimely pwning at the hands of Megatron.
Plus, I figure I keep bangin' on over at the IDW boards about aspects of Transformers that could be developed more, and how I want to see more drama in the books. At the time I sat down and wrote this one, I had a real feeling that it was probably time to 'put up or shut up'.

Oh, well I've actually not read any of the Armada comic past issue #5! I know it's supposed to be awesome, but I just never got around to buying the TPB's yet.
Anywayz, the moral of the story is Smokescreen gets beat down in either continuity it seems, and this story would fit no matter the preference

Yknow, while I have never bothered to watch much of the RiD-Unicron Trilogy stuff, this is a well enough written/drawn mosaic to stand on its own.
