Description
Well, I hinted in my latest journal I had a piece of art coming for you soon. This is it! Lotte, the main female character (I wouldn't quite say 'herione'
of my story. Lotte is one of the title acts in the traveling carnival she's a part of.She is assisted by her lovely sentient top hat or "Big Top."
This is the first piece I've cell-shaded in a LONG time. It was a lot quicker than my normal style. You may see a few more characters in this it.
As always, she's copyrighted to me, Kylee Parks. Please don't steal.

Surprisingly, I've got a lot of requests/statements about people wanting to make Lotte's costume or cosplay as her.
While this is incredibly flattering, and I'm honestly flabbergasted (yet excited) that people like my outfit design for her enough to make it, I have to request that people PLEASE do not cosplay/recreate/make this costume for yourselves or anyone. I'm very pleased people like my design and my character, but I'm not comfortable with having people cosplay her or make my designs just yet. Once the comic is more solid and I'm comfortable releasing info on the internet I will let you know. But as for now, please PLEASE do not make this costume or any part of it.

Well, she's an original character, so a lot of HER went into that costume. As far actual fashion inspiration, I draw a lot from victorian, burlesque, steampunk, vaudeville, Lolita and goth styles.

I've had a lot of people approach me about making this costume and/or parts of such/cosplaying her.
I'd appreciate if you didn't make the costume/cosplay or recreate any part of her costume, to be honest. Simply because it's not a final costume, the graphic novel is not finished and even if you give me credit for the design I don't feel comfortable having bits and pieces of it being made by others just yet. :/ I'm sorry. Thank you very much though, it's very flattering that people want to recreate her costume since I designed it myself. <3
I hadn't thought of that, but it does sort of look like a tarot card in a way. It was supposed to have a 'circus' poster sort of feel, but I made the original drawing very slim so as to not have a lot of negative space.

It's quite the bottomless pit actually, he'll eat lots of things. Sweets tend to be his favorite.
