Ok so this is the progress of my first drawing using procreate for the iPad. I have never used a Software like this before...its my first time with digital art so I'm excited that it turned out this well. So far I've spent around 6 hours on her.Feel Free to ask any questions =^.^=

no not at allβ¦its a one time payment of about $6 you get free updates but it works on iOS7β¦it doesn't work on the lower operating system.

sorry it took so long for me to reply....and well i drew the lines myself but it was someone elses idea...i just tweaked it a little fixing the hands adding the tail and changing a few things i thought were off balance....thanks for your comment and again sorry for the late reply

Nice work Β ! I've recently started doing digital art too and I was wondering, how long did you spend on the line art? I always find it's really hard to get neat lines and I've been wondering if it's just because I'm rushing through it too fast. Thank you!

Well this is my first time in digital art. I spent around 6 hours on her so far and i found that going a little slower is better (i actually made a lot of mistakes but i used many layers and erased,touched up or undid anything i thought wasnt right.
I dont know how fast you are going though hehehe.

Well when I do traditional art, I draw quite quickly so would only spend around an hour to two hours on the line art normally, and I suppose when I draw digitally I get disheartened when it takes longer than that. I guess I'll try again, going slower!

wacom has a really good tablet that is fast it costs a bit though
