Description

Here is the seamstress away from her throne in the wax orchard. Knitting something secret out of the golden threads.

The seamstress herself may look human but don't be fooled, she is one of the oldest threads that have yet to be cut. Her wax body needing constant attending to, to prevent cracking. That is why her mount the Serger is kept hot inside.

You are too kind. I am really trying hard to get my work out there but it's a bit of a struggle. At least on here there are daily deviations that help a lot. But on sites like art station. Not so much.

Deviantart sadly does not favor work like yours. The audience and algorithms favor more certain artists and fanart. If you have an instagram I think you would do better there. You definitely deserve it.

Thank you so much! Detail is my favorite thing and I tend to get carried away.

Damn creepy, very well laid out, the colours are strong, and the image is disturbing - especially those pins!!!

Oh gosh, if you look close you can see bodies inside the wax.

Interesting. Is the little old man her mount? Is he repairing her? I may be a bit confused.

well that little woman is the seamstress. Strange as it is, its a wizard of oz type moment. The Man behind the curtain is a little old lady and the other "being" behind her is more of a transport.

oh that makes sense. That's kind of like an exosuit made of string behind her

yeah you got it. I might do another version of her though. I think I can push this design further and make it stronger. we will see in the future.
