The ring of three witches - instead of a wish, you get three witches to stir a cauldron and encourage you to kill a Scottish king
Mini-onions of Set - little scallions so twisted and corrupt that merely sniffing them will make you Lawful Evil
Whimsy Wine - roll a percentile and one of a hundred things can happen - turn blue, persistent flatulence, get a wish, get the Midas Touch, lose all your hair, etc...

In baldurs gate, there is the golden pantaloons. Theres also the silver pantaloons in shadows of amn and bronze pantalets in throne of bhaal.
By your logic, one should leave them be. By every bg player evers logic, we carry them through all three games and get an awesome set of armour forged at the end.
