the three huntersIt is not always, that I feel the need to do a little fan art, but as I sat at APE on sunday, I just felt like doing a a little artwork from one of my favorite novels. This is the three hunters from the Lord of the rings series- I'll color it later....
It is how I envision it as taken from the books.

in the movie the little dwarf guy is WAY behind. and legolas (no offense) is a lot cuter

I understand, no worries... there are still 2 Tolkien pieces I'd like to get at some point... the nine walkers, and Gandalf vs the Balrog... some day. Some day.

Woo... no wonder i straight away recognize Aragon, Legolas and Gimli XD... It's a fan art! The details are really well done, and Dieman mentioned something from my mind so i will pass that, but ermm....
Another critic from me if you don't mind. I always love how you make the textures of rock, floors and cloths. I been noticing the exponential growth of of your texturing details art after aft too.But i do believe that you don't have to go overboard to every cloths, since not every cloth is rough. Here, I believe the cloaks are.... smooth fabric? And not as rough as a tree skin? Maybe the gauntlet and the other part of the cloths are, but i personally don't think the cloaks are. ( Since if you compare the texture of the rock to the cloaks, the cloaks looked just as hard as a rock... Not that i am against it, though
But away from that, Overall, nice work, knew you had put a lot of works in it. Been a while since you last posted.

the eyes of legolas i am going to fix- as for the cloaks- your points are valid- but i had my reasons
it has been a while since i posted art here- especially since i am updating the comic twice to 3 times a week.

I personally think it just looks dirty and grimy more than like a rock, plus it'll be colored so that will differentiate from the rocks. Good feedback man.

Very niceβthe poses and demeanors of the three really pull the eye, and there's a lot of motion to the picture. Not sure I like the yellow, but the rest is awesome!
