TRDL 2013 Series, No. 38 - Sif [Asgardian]This one was done for the R3 Art Challenge, the subject being Asgardians. I was inspired by some promo art for Sif as she appears after the Marvel Now! soft relaunch, where her red/white outfit has been cleaned up and streamlined a bit. The last time I drew Sif, I did the viking inspired design pulled from an Adi Granov cover, so this was quite a bit different, and the costume itself pulls from Walt Simonson's designs from way back. Big sword!

Pretty nice. I like that her skirt is not one piece. I've never really liked her headgear and would prefer something more scaled back or simply gone. That's just me though.
