Sup guys! Before I go back to disappearing and working on math homework, I wanted to post my entry for 's Contest.

Contest Theme: Draw your favorite book scene on a square shaped canvas. (at least 500x500)

Well I chose the scene where Hollyleaf ran down the tunnels to escape from her clan.

WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT READ SUNRISE

Don't get pissed at me if you haven't read Sunrise and read the next part :3

Why this scene? Beacuse along with the fact that it's the best scene in the best book (Sunrise XD), it's really a scene that spoke to me. I mean, I can see why many disliked her, she killed Ashfur, told everyone at the gathering any ways, and tried to murder Leafpool.

But can you blame her?

She was almost killed by a clan mate, found out that she had been lied to all those years about the identity of her mother and father, on top of that her mother was medicine cat and her father was of Windclan. She was strict to the warrior code, and all that news just crushed her. I wouldn't be that drastic if I found out that news, but we all assess situations in different ways. Her's was telling and then running away.

I think she regretted doing all that, and what better way to express it with art? Though it was hard to do Holly's pose, the lighting, and the fact that I had never drawn a cave till now. I think I did pretty well overall (cept the tunnel entrance -_-). What do you think? Took me Hours to finish over a span of a month with 32 layers.
