I made this theme some time ago to be submited to the GUI Champs 2008 and it ended up in 3rd place in itΒ΄s category with a bronze medal. I wish I could do justice with words, i.e. give an eloquent, technical critique (it would be most favorable I have to say) - I just like 'em - a LOT.
Being an ADD'er with organizational challenges, I long ago realized that VISUAL stimulai - use of color and shape - is of great benefit for me, e.g. at university I took notes with at least 5 colored pens - and I still use lots of color for design and spec of s/w in my day-to-day... anyway - your work is perfect for the "visual" thinker - it grabs and focuses one's attention - which is hugely beneficial for maintaining interest and .. well, yeah, focusing attention.Β Your folder icons are killer - I don't think I've ever seen them depicted like that, showing the gradual curve of the "expandable folder" with it's multiple pre-fold impressions & geometry.Β Seems like a minor thing, but - again - it is the minor things, the details, which can engage one's visual triggers, lol.. like "eye candy" I guess - but it is just such candy which can be a significant functional attribute in a graphical environment, i.e. a GUI..Β and these are excellent imfao.Β More kudos.Β You get the mouse-clicks, friend treetog.Β If/when I get something of my own to a publishable state, I'll be clicking on the comm'l/licensing links of your site - someday - one hopes.Β

I know I've commented on this artwork before, but there's something that's kept bothering me about it. For some reason the live folders won't work properly in Windows 7, and I have no idea whether I'm doing something wrong in applying them or whether it's the icons, because I have no trouble with the live folder icons of other (newer) packs (your iIcons for example). Could you help by any chance?

The thing is, this pack was done in 2008, for Vista (live folders works correctly in Vista), before win7 exists and this problem happens with themes done before win7. iIcons was done a few months ago, after the release of Windows 7.
I am not sure if there is a solution for that, but I will ask the IconPackger developer and will get back to you, if I can find a way to fix that with the application.
