4 hours, Paintshop Pro, mouse, very little reference used.For once I actually really like a picture for days after I finish it. Lord Magnus became lord of Laurondirin when he was around 17. Umm yep.

I keep coming back to this drawing; I really love it, and it's definitely my current favorite. The intensity of the gaze is probably what appeals to me the most.
Starting with the peripheral, the cloth is fantastic. The awesome scarf aside, the engraved clothing (I'm assuming leather) looks freaking cool. I want it. ;D The wave in his hair is just perfect for him. I don't know if it's just the lighting, but the way his hair seems to have varying colors just looks awesome.
You need to give this guy a wiki page. I want to hear his back story ;D

I really like it. It's soft, but I think some of your edges could go softer, maybe the jawline and the lower eye-lids. They really stood out to me, when the thing that should have been catching the gist of my attention was his gaze. Something to think about, though. I think (you used to) you know I'm not a harsh critique who is out to insult you or make you change.

i checked your image at twitter and i think it would look better if the background (of dA) was darker. I remember that you have written an article about that and mention a picture you have had both in dA and you site and the difference was quite big.. have you uploaded this one in you site? I would like to see it but I dont remember the url
