This is part of a greater story to introduce a few new characters to Dream Haven, as well a nice vignette series. Fact sheets to come as well.

It was a busy night at Hedon International, as Jazz music filled the grand convention arena. Several of the nations finest Jazz musicians gathered for the Gulf Coast Summer Jazz Festival. An annual display of the finest Jazz musicians across the United States, as well some international guest. Among them was one young trumpeter who seemed a bit uneasy as he paced behind stage. Not paying any attention to the stage hands abound, he simply quietly paced. Not taking notice of the very tall, well endowed blonde that approached him from behind.

"I see you came after all." the sensual voice stated from the blonde, as the young man turned around to see who spoke.

His eyes lit up as he took in the beautiful vision before him. He then had a big grin, as he sat his trumpet down, and gave her a loving embrace. "Tamara, I've been looking for you everywhere!" he says with joy in his voice, as he then releases her.

"You know, I am a VERY busy Godmother."

"That, goes without saying. I've been in Dream Haven for three days. Everyone here seemed not to know where you were."

"In my line of work, I don't have a secretary. Besides I wanted you to become familar with the surroundings."

he young man seemed confused. "New surroundings? The resort?"

"Actually the city. Surely you walked around the city."

He seemed a bit bashful as he scratched the back of his neck. "You know what could happen if I start socializing."

"Kyrell, it's not a curse. It's a gift, handed down by your father."

This gets a cynical smirk from him as he turns his back to her. Yet Tamara reaches out to him and places her right hand on his shoulder. He started to pull away but stopped. "I could hurt someone."

"Name someone you had hurt in the years you were playing at the Calliope?" she asks.

He then turns to her again, this time with a frown. "I am not one of those Costumed...vigilantes."

"No one is asking you to become one. I asked you here not only for this festival. I want you to come home."

Kyrell gives her a curious gaze. "Come home? My home is back east."

"On the Contrary, this is your home. Your mother, your father, and most of your descendants came from here."

Hearing his mother seemed to make him more calm. "I miss mom."

"I know Kyrell, and I know she misses you. Chances are she's somewhere out there. I am surprised you didn't even contact your sister."

Kyrell smirks, "penelope is happily married now. I probably the last person she would want disturbing her paradise."

Just then the music plays to it's ending, as the crowd applauds. Kyrell turns, and see the stage hand signals him. He then turns back to Tamara. "You're not leaving are you?"

She gives him a sensual smile, and leans over, and gives him a sweet peck on his forehead. "Go break a leg, I will be here waiting."

Then he retrieves his Trumpet, and heads for the curtains that lead for the stage, as Tamara stood with a grin listening to the Emcee.

Ladies, and Gentlemen. Put your hands together for one of the greatest Trumpeter on the East Coast, Kyrell Sulaiman!

The crowd applauds thunders as Tamara walks up to the curtain, and takes a peek on her Godson.
