Description
Vanguard is a Medium size Solar powered Transport built to carry out multi-mission platforms, cargo, and transport duties. Carrying an array of weapons, it can also defend itself. Being Solar Powered the ship is constantly recharging it fuel cells when near a star. Capable of Atmospheric flight it is limited to speeds less than 2000 kp/h. Vanguards can be fitted with Light Drive unit can reach speeds of 1.75 C for 72 hours before Solar recharge. Vanguards are the primary transports on most UNUSEC star ships and stations. Number 7 is a personal favorite of Captain Jennings, as well often used.Vanguard
