Description
Of course, the majority of Goths are unique in their style and music preferences. However, within the subculture there are certain "types" of Goth with particular characteristics. And it can be fun to classify them. Naturally, classifications for each "type" vary from person to person, so you may disagree with what I say here!
After a rather long hiatus, the emergence of this type has prompted me to add to the series.

This is not a goth type. This abomination has NOTHING to do with goth. It's an American rendition of the Yami Kawaii style from the Japan.

I have no problem with this style, I kinda like it. But I prefer to keep everything Black.

I personally dislike wearing inverted crosses and Pentagrams and Pentacles, but otherwise I looveee pastel goth fashion! (All my friends are just goth metal blah blah blah then there's me xD) My favorite part of the whole thing is brightly coloured hair, and that's because kids ADORE it and their parents are terrified

I'd say Emilie Autumn fits better with the Cabaret Goth scene. I don't think I've ever seen her in really pastel colors. Her hair in the Enchant-era was pink but I don't recall it being pastel pink.

The intention around using your work is purely to make our site interesting. We are working on a crowdfunding campaign to open a clothing store. Our products are cool and we know the items sell well having experienced great success with the previous store. The store closed down in a partnership battle.
At the moment I don't have products therefore not offering value to potential customers in our campaign. I need an edge to keep people coming to our site hoping eventually people who are willing to contribute will be attracted. I also thought that by having fun on the site will grow confidence in us making people more willing to part with their hard earned money. I am not a great writer so a blog is not something I want to strain over, I would prefer to use interesting relevant content that the kind of people wearing our clothing would be interested in. Our market is made up of Rockers, Metal Heads, Punks, Hippies, Indie, Rastafarians, Bikers etc. A fashion approach would be laughed at. I need to find stuff that people care about or stuff that amuses them
I found your collection incredibly amusing but also so accurate it borderlines educational in a hilarious way. As we get older the scene changes so much. I am a nineties punk rocker but that doesn't mean I know anything about the punk scene today. I learnt a lot from your art and a blog called "your scene sucks". I would probably be able to use the information successfully in a marketing strategy.

I don't really see a problem with pastel goths if they really enjoy the darker things in life. Goth is not about dressing black. I think they're adorable. Tho I never get all these new trends, but you can never escape fashion.

Never thought I'd miss emos until I saw these guys. Seriously, I feel a kind of weird nostalgia for the whole emo scene now it's gone, even though I disliked it when it was still around, but these guys annoy me far more. Partly it's just because I find the whole combination of black with pastels far more aesthetically displeasing than black with neons ever was.

Music tends to be a lot of J-pop (ie Kyary Pamyu Pamyu) and J-pop inspired artists such as Grimes for pastel goths from what I can tell

Maybe nu-goth ? It has some elements of the pastel goth to it but its more a mixture of 'goth' and 'grunge'.
(some say hipster + goth but I dont know about that, might be true i dont know much about hipsters )

As far as I can tell, nu-goth is pretty similar to pastel, but with a less colourful palette. If it grows distinct enough from pastel, I might feature it.

That isn't really a type of goth. Its just person who watches a show and happens to be a goth. We can't classify every goth as a specific type just because they watch a show. If you mean a goth who likes the bright or pastel colours with a lot of cute things then you might mean pastel goth. Otherwise its just a goth who watches the show.
