I too immediately thought this'd work very well as February..
and another thought.. in my experience most of the people that Ive seen using Macs, especially the little white powerbooks are college people...so if the models had that type of style and attitude, I think itd have a stronger message.. I guess the word thatd describe it best would be hip?

College students using iBooks... yes... well... I'm a college student using an iBook... and I don't dress like a college student. Of course, I don't wear pinup lingerie all the time either [or do I? Muhaha..], but... I wasn't trying to do a realistic Apple ad campaign, not really. I simply wanted to make a calendar of sexy or amusing shots involving people with their Apple products.

It is lit like this; does have a bit of photoshopping, but most of that is cosmetic. The original shot is very similar.

Beautiful Pin-Up style shot! Again, a wicked fun or sultry smile would have made it better. Selling the Mac would be easy with this as a sales aid.
Take a look at some of Gil Elvgren's Pin-Ups for the 40's and 50's, maybe an Oooh or Aaah look would work too. Here's a nice little selection of some of Gil Elvgren's work: [link]

I don't think this sRGB version is nearly as good as the print -- can you open up the dark grays on the tights and hair? Shadow detail is completely missing onscreen. Shadow/Highlights ought to take care of it--amount=25 or 30 for tights, and somewhat higher for hair, masked.

And as to the coloring... when flipping through the calendar in general, the layout worked with this as the third image for some reason... and it also didn't occur to me until I'd done the page layout [a tedious process for a calendar] that I should have made this February. Oops. :-P
