Description
Finally, the starters of Azore region! My creative process in this one is a bit long and excruciating, and at times frustrating, mostly because it's pressuring to see a lot of great starter Fakemon which have rich backstories and lore, and more or less are unified thematically. As for my starters, they are a bit simple and straightforward: you have the snooty leaf weasel, the energetic fire bunny, and the playful aqua dog. Nevertheless, I'll try adding more lore and backstories for their evolutions. I enjoyed drawing these and I hope you like the designs, too!

001-Taileaf (Tail + Leaf)
Species: Weasel Pokemon
Type: Grass
Ability: Overgrow/ Leaf Guard
Dex Entry: -The leaves on its tail and ears are used to detect nearby danger, making it a very cautious and vigilant Pokemon. It cannot sleep until it feels completely at ease with its surroundings.
-It is an enthusiastic Pokemon, digging holes to search for prey. When its comrades are injured, it offers its medicinal leaves to heal them.

002-Bunfire (Bunny + Fire; Bonfire)
Species: Bunny Pokemon
Type: Fire
Ability: Blaze/ Steadfast
Dex Entry: -A very energetic Pokemon, they hop up and down in meadows during springrime. Its fiery tail flares up into a big bonfire when it is excited.
-Groups of Bunfire appearing in the forests during winter is a sign of an incoming spring. In other regions, they are a sign of wealth and abundance.

003-Findor (Fin + Labrador)
Species: Puppy Pokemon
Type: Water
Ability: Torrent/ Swift Swim
Dex Entry: -Its massive tail is used to propel it in the water, though it is still a bit fearful when swimming. However, when its trainer is having trouble, it will go out of its way to help its trainer.
-The fur of a Findor secretes a certain oil that makes its fur waterproof. Its massive tail sometimes causes it to have trouble balancing on land or in the water.
