And my answer to 3 tends to baffle and confuse most people. It confuses me that people are surprised when they come to our apartment, when our NAME IS RIGHT ABOVE THE BUZZER. THE NAME IS WRITTEN IN ENGLISH AND KATAKANA. WHO DO YOU THINK LIVES HERE.
Oh, I also get "how long have you been in Japan FOUR YEARS WHUT"

Oh, this isn't rude, it's a pretty rare thing to be two Americans living in Japan. Usually one or the other is married to a Japanese person. I'm usually also surprised when I run into it, eheh ^_^
