No problem, sorry I didn't answer sooner, but I'm glad you figured it out. If you have any more questions, just ask again and (hopefully) I'll be able to help.

Hmm did you add a light? If not, you might have the camera inside one of the objects. If you want, send me the c4d file via e-mail, send me a note and I'll send you one back with my address, and I can try to figure out the problem if that doesn't work either. It's probably just a really small, really annoying problem, things like that still happen to me all the time too

FYI, just incase you are kind of new to cinema 4d still, meaning that you have never used previous versions of c4d (ei: 6ce,7.x, or 8.x) you can also change the focal view of the camera manually and get some real time results by simply right clicking and dragging the(what ever things of is when you left click)zoom button. The way I use cinema 4d is To move and zoom in and out I only use the move scene button, left click for move camera view and right click to zoom in and out.........just incase you didnt know that.........so did you warez the software?

tribes712 In reply to ragingpixels [2006-02-12 14:56:29 +0000 UTC]

I've been told i can do that multiple times but it never works for me >.< lmao i dunno this is just the way i learn it, although if i can figure out why the click and drag method isnt working >. and yeah ive only used c4d for about a half a year tops

well what version are you using and what platform are you running it on? Mac or PC?, if you are running it on linux, its pretty much the same as the pc version.

tribes712 In reply to ragingpixels [2006-02-12 23:41:09 +0000 UTC]

pc

ragingpixels In reply to tribes712 [2006-02-13 00:57:07 +0000 UTC]

well its basically.....let me open it up first.....here look at this
[link]
its the middle box about zooming in and stuff, when you left click on the triangle button thing, you zoom in and out, like alternatively you can right click the move scene tool and it will zoom as well, also if you press the number 1 and right click, it will also zoom.

If you right click this however, it will change the focal length of the current camera that you are viewing from, however if you have a one button mouse and you are on a pc, then you are out of luck.
