IF this is the cold arriving, we're getting blasted right NOW.
Even Seattle, as reports my son, they got out the city's only
Unicorn, a lone snowplow. Yes, Seattle got snow!!! Quite rare!

Mostly COLD for us, we may get 1-4" of snow overnite tonight. That's nothing.
Drivers have to relearn driving skills on snow, esp after a few people are killed.
They've had some multi-vehicle pile-ups in,... I think Michigan...the photos are gruesome....
Well, Winter is ON THE WAY...I just wear multiple sweaters...in the house!!!

You do have more extreme weather than we do.....Having said that we have had extreme rain for the last few years.....and not as much sun in Northern parts!!!Extra long scarves are very handy too

Β Β 10-12" of snow overnight. The birds were waiting for me to
shovel off the bird feeder!! YIKES!!! It's still Fall, theroretically....

EVen the Squirrels avoided traipsing through the deep snow YESTERDAY.
Today, they made it to the bottom of the feeder, for what the birds throw off....
Lots of Cardinals yesterday...now that the once bare ground has a covering of
snow, the birds are back to the feeder. 12" of cold snow upsets a lot of worlds
of the living, including humans. Today, we had wind chills in the -20ΒΊF range.
We just bundle up...and go shopping (today for groceries) !!!
I get more depressed with the early dark (at 3pm) than I used to....we just
have to turn on lights, and sit by them.Β Β

I know one can buy 'Professional' BIG LIGHTS.....
probably not necessary....one might think I'd be used

I have just added to my Spotify playlist, a chorus that I discovered by watching
the series William and Mary which always featured some very wonderful music...of all
genres. I'll bet you followed it. Martin Clunes and Mary? Gilcrest, the Scottish actress??? Anyway,
I searched on SPOTIFY: "L'infante du Christ" by Berlioz, The Flight into Egypt...is what it's called.
It's a great Xmas piece. Lovely...We're getting another 8" of snow this weekend. And a Deep Freeze
that continues!! YIKES!! I never thought I'd miss the YucatΓ‘n!A BIG HUG for warmth...again!
