Aery Name: Grandesque
Character Name: Pasquale
Character Species Combination: Neofelis Harpia harpyja nebulosa. (Clouded Leopard/Harpy Eagle)
Rank: Young Gryphon.
Gender: Male.
Clan: Primarily Balach, Slaghre secondarily, Samhradh as an embarassing hobbby.
Character Personality: Pasquale, always large for his age from chick-hood, is a layed back, tough guy.

Often treated like he doesn't have much going on upstairs by those that employ him, Pasquale has no problem letting them believe this.

He is kind, though gruff and dismissive of others at times.

Pasquale was born in the border lands of the Skrekrill aerie. His parents were Oisean, low-born and fending for themselves. Though loyal to their Queen, the harsh life of their aerie was becoming too much for the young pair to handle. Scraping by on what his Father could catch or steal from others they did their best to keep their young son fed, while ignoring the hollows in their own bellies. Despite all of their efforts, however, their son became ill.

The idea started as idle musing,one day on a cold morning. A hushed converstion on top of a boulder as the couple awaited the sun to warm their chilled bones. The risks would be great, and while it pained and terrified them to even consider leaving their home, the parental pull in them was strong. They resolved to steal away one night, across the border to Grandesque, where "The meat grows fat" as the saying goes. They would throw themselves on the mercy of Queen Titania. Even if their pleas for clemancy went unheard, and they were treated as enemies, a swift death would be better than slowly starving on the fringes.

Though frightened, the worsening condition of their ailing son drove them forward. Mother and Father, reassuring one another that this would be over soon, that they would live well in Grandesque, that their son would survive. Together they gathered what little they had in the world and turned their backs on Skrekrill.

As they neared the border a shadow flew from the night. A group of Nachtbrag on patrol. One look at the fleeing family and it could only mean one thing. Deserters.

His Father did the best he could to hold them off while his family faded into the darkness behind him. He fought the patrol as long and as hard as he could, killing one and seriously injuring another, but at last they suppressed him. The Nachtbrag looked half heartedly for Pasquale and his mother but gave up quickly in favour of returning to the Queen with the Traitor in tow.
