It was fun but I shall never attempt to draw wings again.(In this case "never" translates to:Not in the next few days.)

Except, my fav part are the wings, so I liked those bright luminescent wings on the original.
But still, other than that, it's perfecto!

Aww,thank you!*hugs* Well, since I chose muted colors it wouldn't have fit if I had used a more vivid shade of blue. If I ever draw Illium in broad daylight, be sure that I'd made those wings pop.

Still working on Elena..I can't believe it's been such a long time but I lost interest and just had the file gather dust..but, good news, I decided to upload the WIP so..yeah, I haven't forgotten the "dare". ;D

The wings turned out beautifully in this drawing! 
The drawing as a whole is beautiful too, but I think the wings conquer too much attention and takes away from the rest of the drawing, making it all look too flat or empty
I love what you did with the colors though, like the background with the trees and the birds and butterflies look great!

Thank you!I´m so happy to hear that you like the wings and to be perfectly honest:After you got the basic shape of the feathers down it´s not that much work since it´s basically copy&paste and then adding a bit of details so the wings don´t look exactly the same.Personally,I´m not too happy with the wings because they don´t look soft enough.
Do you have any advice on how I could have changed the "layout" of the picture so the wings wouldn´t distract from the rest of the pic?
Drawing the birds was so much fun!(And they look kinda cute,don´t they?
