Description Number 3, "Fantasia"! This movie is so Disney-esque: innovative, imaginative, and full of memorable characters. Not to mention the amazing music!

I'm on a mission to paint a picture for each of the 52 Animated Disney Classics (from "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" to "Wreck-It Ralph") and I'd be delighted if you'd come along for the ride! You can check out the ever-growing gallery here: [link]

I don't think I've ever seen Fantasia! It seems so cool though. And I love the brooms, especially the way you've drawn them. Your version of Mickey is really cute too!

Thank you so much, Nelma!! I'm so glad you like my version of Mickey, and the brooms! I drew the brooms without reference, so I'm glad you like their look! Fantasia is really cool, because it's kind of like a series of shorts - I got it at the library a while back, and it was really fun!

This is one of my favorite Disney movies. Even before I knew what an orchestra was, I loved listening to the music; and since I worked with the Philadelphia Orchestra in recent years, I fully appreciate Leopold Stakowski and his legendary conducting of the 1940s P. Orch. even more.

That's so cool! Same here, my favorite parts of Disney movies always were (and still are) the amazing music! I really enjoy not only the original songs, but also the instrumental music ... it's truly what brings the story to life! Wow, that's so cool that you worked with the Philadelphia Orchestra!! I remember when my Grandmother took me to see an orchestra - it was a little smaller than that one, I think, but just an amazing experience!

As far back as I can remember, I have been singing. And it all started with Disney songs. I swear, I must know almost every song they've written for their animated movies, and even some from those that are not, like Enchanted and The Muppet Movie. Um... I still think it's a little weird that they purchased Marvel recently and that Loki, Lie-Smith, he of the silver tongue and flashing eyes, is under the same marketing rights as Mickey Mouse. I swear; Jack Frost in Rise of the Guardians could be his son, right down to the attitude.

That's so cool!! I'm the same with writing stories -- even before I could write, I would draw stories, usually based on fairy tales, like the Disney classics! They were a real inspiration! Haha, that is weird to have Marvel in the same company as Mickey! I admit, I've never seen a Marvel movie before, or a Star Wars movie! But I guess they're Disney movies now!

Sorcerer Mickey is the best part (I have a Sorcerer Mickey keychain a dear friend gave me as a souvenir from Disneyland)

Thank you so much, LightningTopaz! I agree, I think it's the best part, too. That's so cool that it's on your key chain!

Every time I see that little Mickey head on my keychain, it's a reminder to "keep the magic alive"
