Description
This guy was overlooking a canyon which had tons of giraffe and deer.. even rhinos. he's probably picking which one he wants next for lunch.

I know what you mean. Why get a 20D and then buy cheap lenses for it? It's the same reason I want new lenses, but haven't gotten any yet. But one of these days I will...

What a lovely shot! This fella looks rather content with life don't he!!
I like the proportions in this shot i.e. the ratio between lion, rock and sky. It is nicely balanced and the simple frame sets it all off nicely. It is slightly out of focus (ever so slightly), but I guess you must have been zoomed-in quite a bit, so that's fair enough - *cough* plus i'm a crap photographer so I can't really criticise!!

Is it possible that this lovely kitty is a she and not a he? Just curious if you know for sure. It's a gorgeous shot and anyone who likes shooting (with a camera lens!!) big cats, has to be divine. Meow.

but it's a male cub. it's the new cub exhibit they have at the wild animal park. he gave us a good shot of his *cough* hindquarters... so that's the only way i know.

it's actually kinda cute. the cheetah is the opposite side of the canyon.. and he's often seen staring at all the giraffe.

the exhibit isn't even a year old yet. it was just built so they are pretty young. but i saw his backside... i know it's a male.
