A little snapshot of the paradise I spent a month living in. Sketch en plein air and finished with photos in the studio. I think this is where I started really feeling more comfortable with paint during my residency. I felt so much more confidence in mixing and picking and applying color. I think this for me is a big step up from anything I’ve done previously in the realm of landscape/nature painting.
