laiksmarei won it, but let me tell you, another friend was seriously lusting after this picture and plotting to steal it the entire weekend.
It is an amazing piece of artwork! Subversa and I both appreciated it for several minutes. The shading and the Dark Mark, and we even turned it upside down to really look at his face.

Hee! Did it still look good upside down? I always turn stuff upside down, and look at them in a mirror, etc, to make sure that they are all right. It's funny, how just flipping a picture in a mirror image can show you what exactly is wrong with it!

Thanks! Actually this one didn't fight me at all. You're right, though, sometimes odd poses are a real bitch to draw. I have a really hard time with people when their head is looking up or down. The perspective just kills me there! grrrr
