Yes it would. Especially when considering that Cujo was a rabid dog. And if he bites anyone of the other dogs, he'll pass the disease to them and then the next thing you know, all hell breaks loose!

I haven't seen that movie but I heard of it.
Cujo's situation reminds me of Kaibutsu from Ginga densetsu Weed yet a bit different.

It's actually a book by Stephen King, which they poorly adapted to film. Cujo's a little different from Kaibutsu - he is a really nice dog that ends up getting rabies.
