So for this one, instead of following along to an official Bob Ross episode, I followed along with this lovely Krita tutorial series: www.youtube.com/watch?v=8FfVnE…So, it ended up a bit like a game of painting telephone, and didn't turn out how it would have had I watched Bob Ross directly. lol
Regardless, I'm really happy with how this turned out! Not only did I learn just about everything I needed to know about Krita and how to work with all its tools, I ended up making a pretty cool picture!
I'll probably stick with Krita for a while now! It's a fantastic painting program! The rendering times can get a little laggy, but I think I was just using too many layers, and too high a resolution. If I reduce those I should be golden.
I might redo this one later on, watching Mr Ross directly just to see how differently it will turn out, but for now I'll move onto the next piece.
