I think I finally made my cat to reach the total ignorance for my other pets
He's not afraid of rats anymore! And, what is important, he doesn't try to attack them too.Do not worry! Besides me, there was my husband on that coach, animals were safe.

Wow, my cat would have the rat under attack in seconds. Hes pretty much full grown but still a kitten, and he goes after everything that moves... especially bugs. o_o

it seems to be that way with all pets.. my golden just turned seven, and had her last
surgery removing the third large tumor two weeks ago.
she wont live to eight...
my cat i grew up with passed at 12. I though this was way too early... it was only months ago, i still cant think about it :C
People whose animals live a long time kinda make me jealous... like our neighbor whose cat lived to be 21.
And oh yeah. Id give up my friends and social life for my animals any day.
In fact... last night, when it was my friends birthday, she and the other girl there called me literally 13 times and left 4 messages. I told her i cant come because i have to watch my dog. x3 i would never live down giving up my sick dog to party.

Yes, animals are important in our lives and than goodness you know it 
But rats live only for three years (middle) and you can get real close relationship with them... But as I talked with another rat-lover here, that's the way you can know more rat friends in your life. My Coal (the cat-chaser rat [link] ) Lived for 2,9 years. He was first born rat in my family, his parents both were brown and I always wanted a black rat. SO when he was born, I was so happy and raised him to be my frien, which he was

I have had very few pets: one dog, 3 cats, and a couple mice.
all I have now is my dog (not for long :c ) and a new kitten. but
we havent bonded yet so it isnt the same >.<

An animal that is small yet bonds with me personally is ideal for me.

My mother hated rats too. But my personality is such that if I decided- I decided. So she likes them now. A little afraid to hold, but doesn't hate for sure!
