You're right about the ear-position! Sometimes it takes others (after quite a while) to see a mistake! ^^

What helped me learn to draw big bat-ears/troll-ears/goblin-ears, cause that's been a struggle in the past for me too, was make a 'mock-up' out of paper for a model. See how depth works on those blasted things, use a marker to see what lines work to accent it, and shading.. shading.. shading-till-you-puke, once you get to coloring xD xD xD
This one has a particularly -deep- ear, but I like the difference they can have!

I like gobs a lot, too! There's no problem with their ears. Though if you want to add more depth to the ears, try a 'rib' in them, or a tad darker color just in the earhole, not the whole ear. But I think they are lovely as they are! <3

Goblins are awesome! I play on Defias Brotherhood, and have my own goblin guild there!
Have not been online for quite a while because of school and real life..

The female one's mine, and this male is my mate's. He quit wow a year ago, but we still RP on Skype :3
And [link] is my little.. Umm.. Poor goblin, Waz. He's fun to RP >D
But yep, I try to use colour to make the depth into the ear, and sometimes it words (if I am not lazy! )

I have played on DB ever since it went live. All my characters are there. Or.. Were.. there.
I am soon to move to Argent Dawn, since for me, the RP died on DB.
Also, I have found that other interrests have been rekindled, and so, I divide my time a little better
Crafting, LARP, Airbrush classes, Airbrush practice, writing, -trying- to go get a fun LARP-DA-Group running as a waypoint for LARPers worldwide.. all that shizzle.

I RP with my best RP buddy over Skype as well, but that doesn't mean we fully gave up on it.
Just.. with DB as good as dead or full of griefers, I'll choose the eggs for the money, and move over to Argent Dawn, which apparently has livened up a lot, with actual good RP.
My guild used to be The Vengeful, now, It's the Slum-Rats *GO SLUMMERS!*

I used to play on the Sha'tar. I lead a goblin guild there, too. Then I moved to AD. I got into so much drama I never wanted to get into, and I quit wow for a year.. Now I am back, and I tried out DB.. It's a bit dead, yeah.
I could always start a new goblin there. Who knows.

I heard it made a -big- switch.

I've been out of the running for a few months, and almost overnight? thousands of the NICE folks moved there.
And you can walk away from RP drama.
