Holy. BUTTNUGGETS.

I cannot believe I did this!!! It took me over a week, and honestly, I'm beyond proud of this, and it was so worth it.

Heya everyone! Lookie, I finally posted something!

Part of the reason I hadn't been posting recently was 1. Artist's block :I , and 2. I was working on this!

What is "this", exactly? Well, "this" is a gift for my hero & idol, RiverSpirit456.

I first heard of River around late 2015. I was amazed by her art. Even 3 years ago, it was incredible, and has only gotten better as the years go by. I'm not exactly sure HOW I found out about River, probably searching up Warriors art, cause that sounds about right, but that doesn't matter.

What matters is what she's done. Not directly, River has been there for me even in my darkest days. She's helped me get through the worst times, and has always brought a smile to my face. I started doing digital art because of her.
I kept going because of her.
I kept trying because of her.
I got to where I am because of her.

Admittedly, I used to trace her art, not because I thought "hey, wow, this art's great, Imma be a thief and trace it without giving any credit", but because I thought "oh my gosh this art is beautiful, I wish I could draw like this. Maybe tracing will help my skill." And, yes, it did. HOWEVER, I realized, after being bullied, called out in public posts, and even given death threats, that I never should have traced, and if I did, I should have asked first, and given credit.

River found out about what was going on, and despite what I had done, she forgave me. I felt so guilty and awful and horrified, yet she forgave me. River held no grudge against me, or those who were in the wrong. She took initiative, acted responsibly, and forgave us.

I cannot express how grateful I am for everything she's done.

River, if you're reading this, thank you. Thank you so, so much. You mean the world to me, and always will. I will continue to support you for as long as I live, and will never forget you. We might never meet IRL, but that's okay, because I still know you're out there somewhere.
