Description This is the key / cover art for our shortly releasing, brand new skin shader set-up for Genesis 3 Females.
As you can see, the shader is set not only to simulate everything that you've come to know from our recent entries in the TGX tailored series, but it also now focuses on diffuse texture enhancement capabilities as well as several customization options for the user.
We've reduced skin glossiness due to user feedback and didn't leave a single node of the original tailored series shader untouched, to make this the best skin shader, we have releases so far - Nearly every shader node was tweaked!

In addition we will make all these new features available FOR FREE for our TGX tailored Genesis 2 compatible shaders in the near future, updating to the MK2 development state.
Of course, this update will be free for existing customers as well.

This promo also shows RedSpec TGX hair our upcoming generic hair shader, which is currently undergoing internal testing.

Thank you for stopping by

Take care

Noel

Actually OctaneRender will soon work with AMD / ATI cards as well.
Just have to wait for version 3 which should be out pretty soon.

See, now you're just teasing me...!

I did read that there was going to be AMD support on their news feed, but couldn't see a timescale. Β Just recently got a maxed out new MacPro and of course it had AMD chips - typical. Β Currently using Reality but also run KeyShot for more engineering type stuff, so why not go the whole hog and get Octane too... Β I'll keep an eye on their site, thanks for the heads up.

You don't say but I assume this is for Octane rather than Iray. As you know I paid hundreds for an Octane set up but with vastly more Iray users you may as well give up on Octane and go for Iray.Β Besides this it looks a good picture and another great product.

VEry nice indeed !! the feet are awesome on this model, even if she's a bit too skinnt for my taste
That hasn't been long for you to release the shaders for G3F!
Did you struggle a lot from G2f to G3f ? the material parts are almost the same ?

TRRazor In reply to Kooki99 [2015-06-24 20:31:47 +0000 UTC]

Thank you so much!
Genesis 3s surface countΒ was reduced from 28Β to 17 coming from G2Β , so that was the easy part.
But since this shader implements some really new functions, we were quite busy for some weekends πŸ˜ƒ

I'll be waiting for the release of Aiko 7 (hopefully there'll be such a thing!) before I jump onto Genesis 3, but when I do... Rest assured, I'm going to pounce on your skin shaders and there's nothing you can do to stop me!!! >:]

Also, that hair's looking brilliant! <3 Yet another reason to throw my money at you! You make it too easy..

Thanks!

This was actually rendered in PoserPro 2014 via OctaneRender.
I had to export the character as .obj though, since the Dual Quaternion weight-maps G3 / V7 are using, aren't supported (yet) by Poser.

Several folks are trying to get this to work somehow.
Wouldn't switch just now, the coming days will probably show some sort of workaround to get the thing working in Poser in some way.

lol fingers crossed , Β i really would love to use this inside poser .Β
this honestly looks as good if not better than some high end models Β on turbo squid Β for a fraction of the price lol .
iam just amazed at the amount of negativity coming from the poser community .Β

TRRazor In reply to artdude41 [2015-06-24 14:46:58 +0000 UTC]

Well...it was the same case when Genesis 2 was released.
DAZ3D already said back then, that they would not support Poser anymore.
The pressure by the community and Smith Micro made them rethink and create the DSON importer, which at least gave Poser users some form of getting Genesis 2 to work.

Now with G3 it's the same thing all over again, and certainly - just as last time - solutions to the problem will arise.
