this is commission for of her ice dragon character, Cykron (did I spell the name right? im not sure
)----------------------------------------------------
did you notice that ive been having an artist block? thats why the dragon looks wierder than usual...
I need to get inspired again.... ;-;ok so recently I got some tips on drawing flames from and I decided to try it
I made it a little bit like my style because it makes it easier for me 
and I used CraZArt Bright Colored Pencils to color them.they didn't work too well
...... they didn't even show through the scanner 
but it turned out better than I though so im ok with it 
and this is the first time coloring white for meh I used the color Slate to shade it
whatΒ do you use? any tips on shading white anyone? -3-hope you all ENJOY!!!!

Beautiful work. Try next time to make some areas of the body darker to make it more realistic. Also try not to leave some much white areas uncolored. Other then that, love the shading of the dragon and background but needs to be darker in some areas.

Omg!! What's all the awesomeness my eyes see lol?
It is really amazing! First off all, I really loved how you did the colouring and shading! It is so soft yet right textured, and the the shading/lighting effects creates a sensation of angle and skin texture! Plus you got his colors so right! Even the markings!
Β The anatomy is very good too, you did a great job on muscles and horns/spikes!
The pose is cool too!
But the background is wonderfull! I love the ice under Cykron and how confortable and regal he looks ontop of it lol, and the cold fire flames are a nice touch too! Looks like icy breath and gives out a freezing sensation to the picture! I see the crystal at far background too, but how the background is composed just makes some harmony in the whole picture along with the character!
Β You didn't took so much time to do it to tell the truth, the effort put on it worths it! And I loved the expression on his face! He looks confident or something like.

By the way, just as a quick tip for your shading, I guess you could have shaded more under the wing on the white part.
