Based on characters created specifically various Marvel animated series (and one film), X-Works is comprised of ten mutants and one videogame powered guy, united together by S.H.E.I.L.D. agent Buzz Mason. Together they fight mutant oppression, take missions handed down to then by Mason and protect the town of Skull Mesa.From l to r

My favorite members are Spyke, Buff, Lightwave, Videoman and Lift.

Evergreen, Watchdog and Medic were mutants from an episode of the 90s X-Men cartoon calledΒ "Secrets, Not Long Buried". Medic went by Daryl Tanaka and Evergreen didn't have a name. Longrunner is also from the X-Men toon in the episode "Whatever It Takes" as Storm's god son M'jnari. Buff and Refrax are from the 90s Generation-X movie. Lift (Genevieve) was a character from the 90s Spider-Man cartoon two-parter "The Mutant Agenda" which guest starred the X-Men. Finally Pseudo is supposed to be Risty Wilde, Mystique's teenage alias from X-Men Evo, but for the idea, I made Risty aΒ separateΒ character.Β

What gave you the idea to unite these characters, and when will you do a profile for Buzz Mason himself?

Well, I saw these characters with so much potential being ignored, so I decided to make a group out of them. That, and I'm a HUGE X-Men fan.
As for a Buzz Mason profile, I have the microhero made for him already, but I got so busy (still am) I put making a profile on the back burner. But due to your interest in Sector-X, I'll put up some more bios, very, very soon.

-Suzanne Davis (Buff in the original tv movie) reprising her role (I imagine that the members of Sector-X are a little "older and wiser" now, right?).
-Randall Slavin (Refrax in the original tv movie) reprising his role.
-Fred Tatasciore as Watchdog (I'm assuming he doesn't talk much.)
-Holly Marie Combs (of Charmed fame) as Evergreen.
-Daniel Dae Kim (of Lost fame) as Medic.
-Bumper Robinson as Spyke.
-Alfonso McAuley ('Breaking In') as Longrunner.
-Johnny Galecki ('The Big Bang Theory') as Videoman.
-Allison Scagliotti (may want to look her up) as Lightwave.

Not a bad idea with these guys. With your permission of course, I'd love to use them in one of my fanfics...as soon as I make custom figures of them. In my fanfic retelling of the Justice League Unlimited episode "Ultimatum" (featuring the Ultimen), since they purposely teamed Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and Aquaman as a homage to the Super Friends, I teamed that quartet in turn with Spider-Man, Iceman, Firestar, and Videoman (who I renamed "Pixelman").
