Description This is the line art for the first one of my four remaining legendaries who shall be based on the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. This one is based on Death and will be a ghost or possibly a dual ghost/dark.

I went through so many iterations of this design it's crazy and trying to get a centaur design to effectively remain looking like a Pokemon is very difficult; I'm happy with this one though so hopefully you all will be too I think the finger blades be be subconsciously inspired by the animal, Aye Aye...

The name of this fakemon will be Thanatorse, named by but thank you to for his excellent suggestion too

Thanks for the critique, I appreciate your comments all of those points are good, though there are reasons I chose this design, above others (just to give you an insight into my process):

1. Scythes
This design was perhaps the most difficult choice. A scythe arm idea would work, but I already have weasickle which has a scythe tail and a grim reaper appearance. I went for these not only to echo the aye-aye, but also to hint at the death connection rather than be too obvious I have scythe arm designs in Mantiara and Mantyrant, so I wanted a different feel to the design. The shape of the blades may change in curvature in the future though - sometimes I change things in the colouring process.

2. The hood
Again, it may change in colouring. For now, it's actually going to be ghostly energy rather than cloth so it's more of a cloud

3. The mouth
I wanted to make the reaper link more suggestion rather than make it too much like a skull; other skull designs have been used in pokemon before (like duskull) so I thought this one may look more unique. It also stops it looking too creepy and more 'family friendly'.

Name Suggestions:

Thanatorse ? (Thanatos + Horse (Thanatos = greek for death) or Phanatorse to add Phantom in there too!)

Centorpse ? (Centaur + Corpse)

Sequorps ? (Sequester + Equine + Corpse)

I think Thanatorse is my favourite, but these may give you some inspiration! Nice design too, can't wait to see the colouring!

I got the aye-aye reference immediately, since there's a legend on the aye-aye that says if it points its middle finger at you, you'll die soon. This is a great legendary and as its name... Dreaper (Dread+Reaper)?
