This design is one of my Manitales re-branded as a Pokemon; I thought he fit in quite well, and I am rather fond of the cute little thing he has been redesigned a little and hopefully, you can see the improvements

Robobbin
--------------
Derivation: Robin + Bobbing
Abilities: Thick Fat
Classification: Blubber Bird Pokemon

Robobbin are winter birds and generally only come out in cold weather, protected by their rubbery forms and fur-like feathers. Although they are technically flightless, they can simulate flying by taking a running roll off high places. They don't get hurt by the impact of landing because of their supple forms.

Robbouncer

Derivation: Robin + Bouncer
Abilities: Thick Fat
Classification: Bouncing Bird Pokemon

Robbouncer have very thick and rubbery hides that protect against all kinds of weather, but are primarily for helping with their movement methods. Unable to fly in the conventional sense, Robbouncer use their small but powerful spring-like legs to launch themselves high into the air. When they hit the ground, Robbouncer bounce great heights and use their little wings to steer their movements. Their jumps are so great that they seem to be flying; they also use this method to escape predators, or sometimes to fight them off by landing on them with a crushing impact. Robbouncer are highly resistant to physical damage, which is cushioned by their forms with little impact getting through.
