Derivation: Trunk + Snorkle
Classification: Snorkle Pokemon
Abilities: Thick Fat

Trunkle's small size is actually an advantage for them - they like to play and splash around in shallow water where they can be safe from predators. Although they can spend quite a long time under water due to their large lung capacity, they lack gills and still need to breathe air; their buoyancy allows them to get to the surface quickly if they need to. They like to playfully squirt water at each other and passers by.

Snorko

Derivation: Snorkle + Trunko
Classification: Snorkle Pokemon
Abilities: Fur Coat

After evolution, Snorko develops thick fur that covers a lot of their body's surface area which allows them to swim in deeper waters and protects them from colder temperatures; they prefer cooler waters which have less predators to bother them. Their trunks are more complex than they look, allowing them store pockets of air for deep water swimming or shoot pressurized jets of water at attackers.

Trunkorkle's heavy fur coat protects them from any degree of cold temperature and offers a good deal of physical protection from attack. Gentle giants, they like to swim with younger Trunkles and Snorkos when they head out to deeper sea, using their huge and powerful tails to slap away attackers that their massive size doesn't deter - Trunkorkle can also shoot jets of water from their trunks or powerful spouts of water from the blowholes on their heads. Sightings of Trunkorkle's snouths and curved heads surfacing for air has led rise to stories of sea serpents in the past.
